Shilpa Shetty host Great Finale of Bigg Boss Season 2 on November 22′ 2008.THE NEW Hindi entertainment channel ’Colors’ from Viacom 18, has roped in Shilpa Shetty to anchor the reality show ’Big Boss- Season 2’. This would be the second reality show, which would replace the first action reality show, ’Fear factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi’, hosted by Akshay Kumar. The Big Boss Season 2 will be aired everyday at 10 pm from August 17.
Last year, Shilpa participated in the United Kingdom version of ’Big brother’ and emerged as the winner. Big Boss-Season 2 is the Indian version of Big Brother, UK. For a change this time, Shilpa won’t be locked in the house but will play anchor to the show.
Shilpa said that as she has been through such reality show, she knows what the contestants would go through and can understand their feelings and needs. She further believes that strangers living in a house, totally cut off from the outside world with nobody to trust and vouch for, it would be a once in a lifetime experience for the participants and will help them emerge as stronger individuals.
Shilpa who replaced Arshad Warsi as the host has been paid a whooping amount of rupees nine crores
